The Ambassador of Venezuela is accredited to Turkmenistan
Ashgabat, March 27. Today, the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran.
On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the head of the national Parliament congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in his work aimed at strengthening friendly relations developing on a bilateral and multilateral basis, as well as effective interstate dialogue.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of the results achieved in the development of cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as at the parliamentary level.
In conclusion, the readiness to support intergovernmental cooperation through parliamentary diplomacy, strengthen the legal foundations of these relations, and exchange experience in parliamentary and legislative activities was expressed.
