The Xinghai S7 electric car was presented in China
The Xinghai S7 electric sedan from Dongfeng was presented in China. The car is built on the Dongfeng S2-E platform and has a streamlined body with an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.195Cd. This is reported by gazeta.ru.
In the Chinese market, it will compete with Tesla Model 3, Xiaomi SU7 and BYD Seal. The length of the sedan is 4935 mm, and the wheelbase is 2915 mm.
The front of the Xinghai S7 features a closed grille typical of electric vehicles. The taillights are connected by an LED strip with the brand logo in the middle, which gives the model a recognizable look. The interior features a D-shaped steering wheel, a floating touch screen multimedia system and a digital instrument panel.
The power of the Xinghai S7 electric motor is 218 hp, and the lithium-ion battery provides a range of 550 km. The sedan's top speed is 165 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.67 seconds. The battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
