Days of Culture of Turkmenistan started in Dushanbe
The grand opening of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe. This large-scale creative event will be an important contribution to Turkmen-Tajik interstate relations, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The grand opening was held at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadreddin Aini. The event was attended by heads and representatives of relevant ministries, employees of the cultural, arts, science and education sectors, as well as the media.
Turkmen-Tajik relations are based on centuries-old traditions of good neighborliness, common history, culture, traditions, spiritual and social values.
– Today, cultural and artistic workers of the two countries meet on Tajik soil. The participants of the celebration expressed gratitude to the heads of state of the two countries for the opportunities provided to hold a creative forum and confidence that this event will help the mutual enrichment of the cultures of the Turkmen and Tajik peoples, as well as the development of relations between creative workers of the two countries, comments the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan will end on April 5.
