Maserati presented the MC20 roadster, which took a whole year to paint

Maserati has unveiled a special version of the MC20 Cielo roadster called Opera d'arte. This is a one-of-a-kind custom built sports car. It was held at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters tennis tournament, where Maserati is the main sponsor and automotive partner for the third year in a row. Auto.ru reports this.

MC20 Cielo Opera d'arte is the next project of the Fuoriserie personalization division, opened by the brand in 2020. An unknown client asked to create a special livery for the roadster, inspired by abstract art. As a result, the car received a bright blue exterior and interior color with many geometric patterns of different colors.

Almost all body panels, rims, dashboard and seats are decorated with unusual patterns. Maserati says it is the first to use a special imaging technique, essentially turning the car into an artist's canvas. The implementation of the project, in which Maserati's signature design studio Centro Stile also participated, took a whole year.
