International Auto Show opens in Beijing

After a four-year hiatus, the Beijing Auto Show opens its doors to become the world's largest auto show.

From April 25 to May 4, more than 2000 companies, including the world's leading automakers, will present their latest developments.

More than 800 000 visitors are expected to attend, eager to see the cars of the future.

What is the reason for such increased interest?

Firstly, the Beijing Auto Show has significantly expanded its scope, surpassing the popular exhibitions in Geneva, Frankfurt, New York and Detroit.

Secondly, this year not only Chinese manufacturers will take part in it, but also such auto giants as BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini.

This will permit visitors to view a wide range of models from around the world and witness technological breakthroughs in the automotive industry. “Rossiyskaya gazeta” reports this.
