New generation Lada cars will receive artificial intelligence

AvtoVAZ announces plans to introduce unmanned systems in Lada cars.

“We are considering the possibility of using unmanned technologies in models where it will be economically feasible and efficient”, - said company president Maxim Sokolov. RIA Novosti reports this.

Sokolov noted that the introduction of unmanned systems is part of AvtoVAZ’s development strategy until 2030, which also provides for the production of cars of higher classes (C, D and higher). In these models, elements of unmanned systems will be used more widely.

It is worth noting that this is not the first step by the Russian automobile industry in the direction of unmanned vehicles. In November 2023, “KamAZ” PJSC presented a prototype of the “Atlant 49 Robocop” unmanned dump truck.
