Bugatti has released a hypercar that can outrun a Formula 1 car

The Bugatti Bolide, unveiled as a concept car in 2020, has become a reality. Bugatti test driver Andy Wallace reports that the first owners will soon be able to enjoy its incredible power, comparable to a Formula 1 car.

Initially, the Bolide seemed too extreme for mass production, but Bugatti decided to take a bold step. The concept was reworked into a race car while maintaining the spirit of the original idea.

The heart of the Bolide is an 8,0-liter W16 engine that produces 1578 horsepower. Thanks to the carbon fiber body, the weight of the hypercar is only 1450 kg. This permits it to accelerate to 380 km/h, and its acceleration can surprise even experienced pilots.

Bugatti focuses not only on top speed, but also on phenomenal handling. The Bolide has incredible grip and powerful brakes, making it the most powerful track model in the company's history. Runews24.ru reports this.
