Mercedes-AMG is preparing to release a revolutionary electric car - a 1000-horsepower crossover that has no analogues in the model range. The new product, created on the basis of the high-tech AMG.EA platform, will be a real breakthrough in the field of electric vehicles, challenging competitors such as the BMW XM, Lotus Eletre and the future Porsche electric car.
The heart of the crossover will be high-performance electric motors of the new generation AMG, capable of delivering up to 480 hp. and 590 Nm of torque with a weight of only 24 kg.
The 800-volt architecture will provide fast charging and high energy efficiency.
Versions with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, as well as with two, three or four electric motors, are expected.
The debut of the crossover is expected to take place after the presentation of the four-door AMG GT coupe in 2025. Motor.ru reports this.
