The head of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan named the newborn foal
During a working trip to the city of Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev, TDH reports.
Here, the head of the highest body of people's power of Turkmenistan examined the newborn foal and gave him the name Shahyr (Poet - editor's note), which is symbolic in the context of this year's celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
Rector of the International Academy of Horse Breeding P. Bayramdurdyev informed the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the work of the university, the conditions for practical training of students and the study of national equestrian traditions. The head of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding B. Rejepov reported on preparations for the National Horse Day and an increase in the number of Akhal-Teke horses.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of modernizing the educational process, improving the qualifications of academy teachers, scientific study and development of equestrian traditions.
