Presentation of the city of Arkadag was held in Astrakhan
Astrakhan State University (ASU) organized a presentation of the new modern administrative center of the Ahal velayat - the city of Arkadag. This was reported by the diplomatic department of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
The event was held within the framework of the visit of the consul of Turkmenistan to Astrakhan Nury Golliev with the rector of ASU Konstantin Markelov.
The parties discussed ways to develop further cooperation with the Astrakhan University in the field of education and science, as well as various programs for retraining specialists for various industries in Turkmenistan.
Consul Golliev also met with Turkmen students and answered their questions.
According to the Turkmen diplomatic department, more than 600 students from Turkmenistan are currently studying at ASU.
Let us remind that, according to the Resolution of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh, adopted in December 2022, the new administrative center of the Ahal velayat received the status of a city and became known as Arkadag.
